In asking you to come alongside me financially and prayerfully, I’m asking you to believe in me.

How could I ask this of you before ever telling you what you’re trusting me to steward? This is what I believe in, with full disclosure. This is what I pour my heart into. When I make decisions, this is the lens I look through.

I believe in embracing adventure. Life is fun if you let it be.

I believe in fiercely loving people and that kindness changes everything.

I believe when bold perseverance and gentleness meet, a ripple effect for change is created.

I believe in creation and how it displays the complex capabilities of our creator.

I believe dreams with vision truly make a difference.

I believe in stillness and the opportunity of reflection it provides.

I believe in listening.

I believe in opinion and the courage it takes to own yours in a society heavily influenced by conformity.

I believe the uniqueness of humanity to be a masterpiece of artistry.

I believe people overcomplicate faith.

I believe we’ve been placed here to love God and love others.

I believe in making room for people. When we do we adopt this radical idea that while we were still sinners Christ made room for us.

I believe in openness; in our hearts and schedules.  I believe we’re the ones who miss out when we close ourselves off and we are never too busy for a child of God.

I believe we’ve been called into a depth and intimacy with Jesus and this vulnerability is maturity.

I believe in growth; we aren’t called to be comfortable.

I believe we miss sides of Jesus when we don’t allow the perspective of women to influence our church body.

I believe when we raise our words not our voices we can reach effective change.

I believe in humility.

I believe freedom is more than the stars and stripes. I believe true freedom is achieved when we walk confidently in who we’re created to be and in acceptance of those around us.

I believe each human is born with the ability to make a difference.

Will you?
