If you hear me say anything about the heart of the Father, hear this.
I want to challenge you and inspire you to live a life for the Father’s smile. His heart is to see you, His heart is to know you, His heart is for you. Let me tell you, the Father wants to come and he wants to mark you with a moment of impact. THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE WANTS to speak to you. Some of you may live a life never hearing God say, “I’m proud of you.” And it’s not because He’s not saying it, you need to turn your ear and lean into him.
The face of Jesus has to be enough.
Recently my time with the Lord has been in the weeping room. I prayed a bold prayer in December and said, “Lord show me how your heart breaks for your people, take me to the weeping room.” Ask and you shall receive my friends, ask and you shall receive. God has invited me into His love for people. Feeling his sorrows and mourning fir His sons and daughters.
The heart of the Father is invitation. Finding the lost and inviting people into the kingdom.
“Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled saying, ‘This man receives sinners and eats with them.’ So he told them this parable: ‘What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” Luke 15:1-7
The beauty of the Lord is once you’re in, you are in. It’s not about you anymore. He found you. He has more sheep to find. A question I’ve had with this scripture is what if God loses the 99 when searching for the 1? That’s not even a question for God because every one matters. I know my Father’s voice. There is no way I could ever lose Him. I know how to find Him. He came after me when I was His lost one and now I’m a part of His ninety-nine. It’s not about me anymore, it’s chasing His heart to know His people and inviting them into His Kingdom. Have you ever thought about how Jesus hasn’t met his bride until everyone knows Him? God’s heart is to know His bride.
His heart is to see you.
His heart is to know you.
His heart is for you.
